Intel Xeon Platinum 8380 Ice Lake Linux Performance vs. AMD EPYC Milan, Cascade Lake

The NAB performance put the Xeon Platinum 8380 performance between the EPYC 7713 and 7763 processors.

For Intel's oneDNN open-source software package for deep neural networks, to little surprise the Ice Lake performance was overall performing exceptionally well -- as would be expected given Intel's AVX-512 optimizations and other tuning to their microarchitecture with this library that is in turn used by different deep learning software packages.

Intel's OpenVINO toolkit meanwhile saw the Xeon Platinum 8380 dancing with the EPYC 7713.
