Similar to the results shared last week of AHCI vs. IDE on a hard drive, with a high-end SATA3 SSD the AHCI performance continued to be much greater than when operating in the legacy mode.

The only test profile where there was a regression in performance when using the AHCI mode ended up being BlogBench.
