The MD5 performance with John The Ripper on Intel's Core i5 750 system was significantly better than our Core i5 750, Core i7 870, and Core i7 920 systems.

Besides when EIST/Turbo were disabled, the new Intel numbers were very favorable and almost twice as fast as our original Core i5 750 / Core i7 870 numbers.

Intel's Core i5 750 PTS Linux numbers were almost twice as higher as well when testing out the PostgreSQL database performance.
