Xonotic with higher image quality settings was still leading to slightly higher results.

There was a very noticeable performance improvement with GpuTest's Furmark benchmark using Mesa 10.5-devel.

The simple triangle OpenGL test inside GpuTest was multiple times faster using Mesa 10.5-devel over Mesa 10.3 while sticking with the Linux 3.18 kernel.

There's numerous performance changes to find for the HD Graphics 4600 on a Core i7 Haswell CPU, but unfortunately not all of the OpenGL performance changes are an improvement. In a number of tests, the Mesa Git results were lower than using Mesa 10.3.0 stable on Ubuntu 14.10.
