With Valve's Dota 2 game, the performance between Vulkan and OpenGL is very similar on the Kabylake Intel Linux graphics stack.

The CPU usage is a wash between OpenGL and Vulkan, compared to our discrete GPU tests when comparing these Khronos graphics APIs.

Talos Principle even at 1080p with the high quality visuals is slow on Kabylake HD Graphics. To some surprise though, the Vulkan performance was much better at 12 vs. 4 FPS.

The CPU usage here does also come in lower for the Vulkan use-case.
