- Support for several new ARM platforms. Notable additions include the Snapdragon 808/810, Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 6X, Pine64, Droid 4, and more.
- Microsoft Surface 3/4 touch improvements.
- And other Microsoft Surface 3 improvements.
- More x86 laptop quirks.
- The continued flow of power management updates.
Other Hardware:
- The sound code has a new topology ABI, continued work on Intel Skylake audio, and other driver updates. There are new sound drivers for the Cirrus Logic CS42L42, Qualcomm MSM8916-WCD, and Realtek RT5665.
- Improved Raspberry Pi 3 support.
- EFI now exposes its frame-buffer configuration.
- Synaptics input improvements.
- HDMI CEC was promoted out of staging for better control of connected HDMI devices.
- VFIO mediated device support as part of Intel's GVT upbringing and NVIDIA's also working on vGPU support for virtualized VMs.
