First up are the tests with the SATA 3.0 Samsung 850 EVO SSD system.

When running the SQLite test profile, the performance between the different schedulers was minimally affected with the exception of BFQ being noticeably slower. Noop had a very slight lead.

When carrying out sequential writes with FIO, CFQ, Noop, and deadline were the fastest while the I/O schedulers tested in the MQ mode were all slower.

When running FS-Mark at four threads, BFQ and None were slightly slower than the others. The default CFQ I/O scheduler on this test system was slightly faster.
