Well, hopefully you found this large comparison interesting. There isn't much more to add right now nor any results that were too out of the ordinary. Other interesting data will complement these results later in the week.

This big comparison was all done very easily using the open-source Phoronix Test Suite benchmarking software. You can also see how your own Linux system(s) compare to all of these results by simply installing the Phoronix Test Suite and running phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1506039-BE-LINUXBENC64. It's that easy for doing a side-by-side, fully-automated, reproducible comparison. If you have many systems to manage, be sure to try Phoromatic.
