Redis was one of the real-world applications appearing to gain from the FSGSBASE patches on both AMD and Intel systems.

Context switching performance measured by Stress-NG was helped slightly.

Apache HBase saw some benefits.

Lastly for now is a look at the geometric mean among the affected workloads. More tests to come if/when the FSGSBASE patches are merged at long last to the mainline Linux kernel.
