First up are tests of the VM running on the dual Xeon Gold 6138 server while the Ubuntu VM had 16 vCPUs / 32GB RAM / 64GB virtual disk.

In some demanding multi-threaded CPU tests, the VM is running a little bit but measurably slower... This is unlike most of the desktop tests thus far where on bare metal Core processors the CPU workloads were performing about the same.

While in other CPU workloads like the Himeno pressure solver test, the performance is nearly identical.

The ebizzy benchmark that tries to resemble web server workloads is slower by about 9%.

While in some code compilation benchmarks the performance is about the same with/without the Kernel Page Table Isolation patches.
