Linux 5.16 Graphics Performance In Great Shape For AMD Ryzen APUs

ET: Legacy is the promising open-source project that lets the legendary Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory to continue living on with new releases... For this id Tech 3 derived engine, the newer APUs/SoCs in particular were benefiting greatly from the new Linux kernel release. The older Ryzen 4000 series hardware was seeing some benefit with Linux 5.16 but not quite to the magnitude seen with the newer and faster hardware.

Tesseract was also showing significant performance gains with Linux 5.16 especially with the newer hardware but even with the prior generation Ryzen SoCs with integrated graphics.

For Unvanquished with the lower quality visuals there were huge gains to see in performance especially with the Ryzen 9 5900HX / Ryzen 7 5700G but even with the higher quality settings and older hardware there still were gains to find with Linux 5.16.
