AMD Radeon vs. Intel Arc Graphics With Linux 6.2 + Mesa 23.0

DiRT Rally 2.0 running via Steam Play was a rather interesting test case where the Arc Graphics outperformed the Radeon RX 6600/6700 series tested, but there was a scaling issue as you can see with both the A750/A770 performing similarly and there being not much difference from the RX 6600 to RX 6700 XT even at 1440p high quality settings.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider meanwhile struggled on the Intel Arc Graphics hardware where at low quality settings its performance was comparable to the Radeon RX 6500 XT... At the higher quality settings the RX 6500 XT tanked due to its vRAM squeeze while the A750/A770 were still coming in well short of the Radeon RX 6600 graphics card.

The performance-per-Watt of these DG2 graphics cards didn't end up being impressive either.
