Depending upon feedback, this Linux/BSD operating system comparison may be expanded even more from this Intel Core i7 3960X EE system. If you have any requests for other distributions/platforms to test, please direct your feedback to the Phoronix Forums or @MichaelLarabel on Twitter.

Overall, the expanded comparison doesn't show too much more besides the Arch-based Manjaro Linux distribution performing in line with all of the other tested Linux distributions. Between Debian GNU/Linux and Debian GNU/kFreeBSD, as earlier Phoronix tests have shown, Debian paired with the Linux kernel is generally faster.

More of the 11-way comparison benchmark results can be found in the OpenBenchmarking.org result file of 1306097-UT-OSCOMPARE58.
