Linux 3.14 File-System HDD Benchmarks
Dbench showed the EXT4 file-system performance dropping for this system configuration on the Linux 3.14 kernel while the Btrfs and XFS file-systems didn't see much change from Linux 3.12 to 3.14 Git.
When moving from one to six Dbench threads, the EXT4 performance showed no slowdown with Linux 3.14 Git.
There wasn't much to see out of the IOzone read and write benchmark results.
