First up with the Flexible I/O Tester, the Linux 3.16 kernel performance from this ASUS Core i7 ultrabook with solid-state storage had regressed slightly for all three file-systems on Linux 3.16.

The FS-Mark results vary from being unchanged between Linux 3.15 and 3.16 to having performance regressions, namely for EXT4.

With the Dbench disk benchmark, the F2FS and XFS file-systems were performing noticeably better on Linux 3.16 from the SanDisk SSD while the EXT4 performance was unchanged against Linux 3.15 stable.
