For IOzone read tests, EXT4 and XFS had an advantage over the other Linux file-systems tested from this SATA hard drive.

When it comes to the IOzone write performance, Btrfs did the best from this rotating media while ReiserFS was the slowest. EXT4 was the second fastest file-system for this single-disk configuration with the 8GB writes of varying record sizes.
