Building The Linux Kernel With LLVM's Clang Yields Comparable Performance
With the disk and OpenGL graphics tests, the performance of the Linux 3.14 kernel built under LLVM Clang 3.5 was yielding the same performance as the kernel built by GCC 4.8.2.
