The SQLite performance was about the same between operating systems.

With the mature Haswell graphics hardware, Intel's Mesa stack on Linux is much faster than with macOS, at least for the cross-platform Xonotic game. Apple has sadly largely given up on OpenGL support in favor of their own Metal graphics API and has not been advancing their OpenGL driver support.
