Yes, in some tests, Mesa 11.1-dev is rater than 11.0 Git right now, until the patch is accepted into this series. However, before getting too excited, remember that this patch is reverting a previous change as opposed to coming up with a new performance breakthrough.
Tesseract was also affected.
However, some tests like Unigine were not affected with this slightly newer code.
