The GTX 980 / 980 Ti remain basically unplayable with Nouveau until the re-clocking situation is sorted out, but I included the numbers anyhow... Perhaps if NVIDIA gets embarrassed enough they'll finally work to work on more desktop contributions to Nouveau. The GTX 650 and GTX 750 Ti weren't tested out-of-the-box due to their incredibly slow speeds. Thus as already mentioned the mostly interesting results are for the higher-end GTX 600/700 series Kepler cards. Manually re-clocking to the highest (0f) performance state is a must for getting any useful performance while making use of NvBoost with Linux 4.10 did sequeeze fractionally more power out of the hardware.

Though Nouveau isn't exactly recommended for 4K gaming...

At least you can run the open-source ET: Legacy game with ease, the project remaking Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
