In the original open-source driver comparison of the 65 graphics cards I tried to test, only 50 worked well enough on the drivers to run the OpenGL benchmarks. Fortunately, with the 35 graphics cards attempted for this article, they all worked fine using the official AMD and NVIDIA Linux drivers. No major issues turned up when testing these graphics cards from the NVIDIA GeForce 8 series and newer and the AMD Radeon HD 5000 series and beyond.
