While RadeonSI has seen improvements for BioShock Infinite and with the tested Radeon GPUs the framerates are playable, they still come up well short of the NVIDIA Linux performance. Even the R9 Fury for this game was slower than the GTX 1050.

With Counter-Strike: Global offensive at least it's a different story where the R9 Fury on AMDGPU+RadeonSI can perform between the GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti. The RX 480 was performing between the GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1060. CS:GO is a lighter game so at least the R9 285 / RX 480 / R9 Fury can deliver playable frame-rates at 4K.

We have seen some optimizations for RadeonSI pertaining to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Unfortunately though much work is still needed. With the current RadeonSI driver, the R9 Fury is performing at the same speed as the RX 480, which itself is short of the GTX 1060.

The RadeonSI Gallium3D driver could also use some improvements for the DiRT Showdown racing game.
