Unfortunately the Steam tests like DiRT Showdown and BioShock Infinite from the testing earlier this week couldn't be used this round since the Ubuntu NVIDIA driver package was colliding with a Steam update causing some runtime issues on Ubuntu 16.04. With the OpenArena results, while these open-source AMD numbers looked good when comparing them just to Catalyst, we see that all of the tested NVIDIA graphics cards are much faster... Even the GTX 760 came out ahead of the R9 Fury on AMDGPU.

With the Tesseract game at least the open-source Radeon/AMDGPU stack is a bit more performant, but the results are sad when a GTX 970 outperforms the R9 Fury.

The results aren't any better with Unigine Heaven on Ubuntu 16.04 where a GTX 950 outperforms the R9 Fury.
