The OpenCL SHOC results were a bit of a wash with the Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 being the same speed as the GTX 950 to just a few percent faster.

During benchmarking, the Zotac GTX 1050 Mini maxed out at 56C during benchmarking.

Well, that's the initial Linux results of the Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 with having less than one full day so far for benchmarking. Stay tuned for the power consumption metrics plus the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Linux numbers. While in some tests the GeForce GTX 1050 wasn't any faster than the GTX 950, keep in mind that the power consumption for this Pascal based card is lower than the Maxwell-based GTX 950 as the upcoming numbers will show with better performance-per-Watt.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Mini 2GB can be found for $109 USD at NewEgg.com along with other variations of the GTX 1050. If you appreciate all of our prompt Linux hardware benchmarking of new products, please consider helping us by becoming a member of Phoronix Premium.
