NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Linux Gaming Benchmarks

As you've likely heard plenty about the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti in the days since the launch, let's get straight to the Linux gaming performance figures. Later this week I'll also be providing various OpenCL/CUDA benchmarks for the GTX 1660 Ti, just with the limited time I've been running this card so far have only wrapped up the Linux gaming benchmarks. The graphics cards tested for this comparison included the:

- R9 290
- RX 580
- RX 590
- R9 Fury
- RX Vega 56
- RX Vega 64
- GTX 970
- GTX 980
- GTX 980 Ti
- GTX 1060
- GTX 1070
- GTX 1070 Ti
- GTX 1080
- GTX 1660 Ti
- RTX 2060
- RTX 2070

All of the Radeon cards were freshly tested using the Linux 5.0 Git kernel paired with Mesa 19.1-devel built against LLVM 9.0 SVN (via the Padoka PPA) as of this week for the very latest RADV/RadeonSI driver support. On the NVIDIA side all the cards were tested against the new NVIDIA 418.43 driver while running on the Linux 5.0 Git kernel. All tests were done from the host operating system of Ubuntu 18.10 on the Intel Core i9 9900K test system.

Via the Phoronix Test Suite a range of OpenGL and Vulkan Linux gaming benchmarks were run. The Phoronix Test Suite was also monitoring the real-time AC power usage for generating performance-per-Watt metrics as well as monitoring the GPU temperatures too for looking at the thermal performance.
