NAMD CUDA benchmark with settings of ATPase Simulation, 327,506 Atoms. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

When looking at the NAMD CUDA performance, the GeForce RTX 4060 performance was around that of the GeForce RTX 2060 series while the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti was easily the fastest of the xx60 series hardware tested.

Hashcat benchmark with settings of Benchmark: MD5. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

The RTX 4060 performance in Hashcat was particularly disappointing and odd with the RTX 2060 SUPER often coming out ahead of the RTX 4060 and only outpaced by the RTX 3060 Ti. However, it's known the next Hashcat release will contain NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series optimizations.

SHOC Scalable HeterOgeneous Computing benchmark with settings of Target: OpenCL, Benchmark: FFT SP. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

SHOC Scalable HeterOgeneous Computing benchmark with settings of Target: OpenCL, Benchmark: Texture Read Bandwidth. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

The SHOC OpenCL benchmarks also had more generally disappointing results for the GeForce RTX 4060. The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti can be found as low as ~$349, making the RTX 4060 at $299 even less compelling.

FluidX3D benchmark with settings of Test: FP32-FP32. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

FluidX3D benchmark with settings of Test: FP32-FP16C. RTX 3060 Ti was the fastest.

The OpenCL-powered FluidX3D results were also peculiar for the GeForce RTX 4060 having a very low performance showing.
