The NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti Maxwell Continues Running Great On Linux
Via NVIDIA's X Server Settings (nvidia-settings) panel there is an OpenGL Settings page and from there is an "Image Settings" slider that ranges from "High Performance" to "High Quality" for OpenGL games/applications. Does this slider make much of a frame-rate difference for Linux games with the GeForce GTX 750 Ti? I posted some benchmarks at 1402188-PL-NVIDIAMAX54 testing the values at the two extremes to give you an answer.
For those into OpenCL, I ran a large number of GeForce GTX 750 Ti "Maxwell" benchmarks from the NVIDIA 334.18 Beta Linux graphics driver on Ubuntu. The big set of Maxwell OpenCL results can be found at 1402182-PL-NVIDIAMAX53.
If you're after some new GpuTest numbers, I ran a total of 77 GpuTest benchmarks within 1402181-PL-NVIDIAMAX22.
For id Tech 4 gamers, there are Prey and Doom 3 benchmarks within 1402181-PL-MAXWELLID60. Meanwhile, a ton of Xonotic benchmarks can be found in 1402188-PL-GEFORCEGT29.
See the GeForce GTX 750 Ti Linux review for more benchmarks, if you haven't already done so. You can leave us other test requests via our forums or Phoronix on the various social networks.
