Benchmarking OpenCL On Intel Graphics With Beignet 1.3
Cl-mem is a simple OpenCL test recently added to the Phoronix Test Suite. These results are a bit peculiar with some Core i3/i5 parts beating out the Core i7 7700K.
The i7-7700K has a narrow lead with JuliaGPU.
The newer Core i5/i7 Skylake/Kabylake performance was flatlined with the Mandel/Mandelbulb GPU tests.
SmallPT GPU was hitting some bottle-neck with Beignet, the results seeing no change at all across the tested Intel graphics.
Well, those are the reference tests we have to share today from Beignet 1.3 atop Intel's Clear Linux distribution. If you wish to compare your own Linux system's OpenCL performance to the results found in this article it's simply a matter of installing the Phoronix Test Suite and running phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1701295-RI-BEIGNET6766. It's that easy with our open-source benchmarking platform!
