Benchmarking The Current Intel OpenCL NEO Driver Compute Performance On Ubuntu 19.04

NEO was also performing well in various other OpenCL test cases carried out.

If looking at the geometric mean for the tests carried out on both Intel OpenCL implementations, NEO averaged out to approximately 24% faster than the former Beignet open-source driver. Plus with NEO supporting OpenCL 2.1 compared to CL 2.0, all in all it's great that finally with Ubuntu 19.04 it's officially packaged for Ubuntu users and will hopefully begin appearing in more Linux distributions this year.

And then lastly for "fun" / curiosity in seeing how POCL OpenCL running on the CPU compares to running with the Intel OpenCL Iris Pro 580 acceleration:

The POCL results come in line with expectations based on our past testing, but at least allow for executing OpenCL kernels as a fall-back on systems not having GPU OpenCL support.
