Besides GeeXLab-RT, the other main Vulkan ray-tracing "user" on Linux right now is the open-source Ray-Tracing In Vulkan project. For this demo the results were much more mixed.

When running the "Ray Tracing In Vulkan" scenes at 1440p, the results were mixed. In two of the scenes the Radeon RX 6800 XT continued to come out ahead of the RTX 3090 while in the other three scenes the AMD Radeon RDNA2 ray-tracing performance was quite disappointing... In those three scenes, the RX 6800 XT was coming in behind the RTX 3060 Ti and other older graphics cards.
