Valve's ACO Helps Put New Life Into Radeon GCN 1.0 GPUs With ~9% Better Linux Gaming Performance

Even with the Dota 2 game that isn't demanding much for AMD GCN 1.0 GPUs, ACO helped raise the average frame-rate by a few frames while the minimum frame-rate went up by 8%.

Dawn of War 3 also was helped a lot in raising the minimum frame-rate for the Radeon HD 7950 thanks to ACO.

Hitman 2 is one of the titles tested via Steam Play with DXVK. Hitman 2 at 1080p is still too much for the Radeon HD 7950, but ACO did help raise the performance for what it's worth.

The Mad Max performance at 1080p was running more comfortably with ACO.
