RADV's ACO Back-End Is Helping Radeon Navi Linux Gaming Performance

Dota 2 with Vulkan was running slightly faster on all four tested graphics cards with the ACO back-end. Importantly, the minimum frame-rates were also a few frames higher with this Valve-funded shader compiler code path.

Hitman 2 is one of the Steam Play / Proton + DXVK game tests in this article. ACO is of noticeable help for all of the Radeon graphics cards tested, including the Navi Radeon RX 5700 series.
