The Darktable RAW photography software package with OpenCL was slightly faster using ROCm over the current AMDGPU-PRO driver package.

The Blender performance was close between operating systems.

Where AMDGPU-PRO's OpenCL implementation was still coming out ahead was in the LuxMark OpenCL benchmark.

It will be exciting to see how ROCm OpenCL support matures in 2017.
