How The Radeon RX 5700 XT Navi Linux Performance Has Evolved Since Launch
The Unigine demos were showing slightly better OpenGL performance on the EOY 2019 driver stack, not to mention now having OpenGL 4.6 support, NIR by default, and other RadeonSI features that landed in recent months.
The end-of-year 2019 driver stack on Linux for the Radeon RX 5700 XT was about 5% higher compared to the August 2019 state shortly after launch.
If taking the geometric mean just of the Vulkan tests and including the ACO metrics, the RADV Vulkan performance for Navi 10 was about 7% higher compared to August.
