At 1080p with medium quality settings, the Core i7 8700K was allowing the RX 580 and RX Vega 64 to run up to a few frames faster than with the Ryzen 7 2700X.

While at 1440p with medium quality settings where the GPU is kept busier, there wasn't much difference between these two CPUs.

And at the very high visual settings where its more of a GPU match, the Ryzen 7 2700X was keeping up with the Core i7 8700K.

So aside from with the lower quality settings where the CPU comes more into play, the Ryzen 7 2700X was keeping up with the Core i7 8700K CPU for this latest Linux game port relying upon the Vulkan graphics API. Stay tuned for Ryzen 5 2600 and Ryzen 7 2700 Linux benchmarks soon on Phoronix.
