AMD Vega 8 Graphics Performance On Linux With The Ryzen 3 2200G
The synthetic GpuTest triangle sub-test for testing vRAM performance shows how the Vega graphics are capable of being a great deal faster.
As noted in the 2400G testing yesterday, the Raven Ridge APUs oddly cause a hang with BioShock Infinite even though this game works fine on other AMD GPUs with RadeonSI.
Dota 2 with OpenGL at 1080p also yielded a stability problem on the Ryzen 3 2200G system while there wasn't that problem yesterday with the 2400G.
But the Ryzen 3 2200G did run fine with Dota 2 when using the Vulkan renderer with RADV driver.
