Earlier this year we reviewed the SilverStone Raven RV01 and loved this high-end computer chassis. We did not think it was quite superior to the SilverStone Temjin TJ10 that has been our favorite for years, but now SilverStone is out with the Raven RV02. Are there enough improvements in the RV02 to see if it can finally surpass the Temjin TJ10 as our favorite? Actually, yes.

The SilverStone Raven RV02 is available in two models: SST-RV02B and SST-RV02B-W. Both RV02 models are painted black while the later model has a right side window for looking into your computer chassis; it is the SST-RV02B-W that we are reviewing in this article, which was supplied by SilverStone Technology. SilverStone cases are generally well packed to prevent any damage in shipping, with the Raven RV02 being no different. A soft fabric bag protects the enclosure's exterior while two large Styrofoam blocks provide the main protection. There was also plastic that protected both sides of the acrylic window as well as the edges of the chassis. Included with the case in a separate box is all of the needed mounting hardware along with an in-depth user's manual.
