SilverStone RVS02 SATA Enclosure
Overall, the SilverStone Raven RVS02 does what it is supposed to and that is being a 2.5-inch external disk enclosure. It worked fine under Linux, transferred at expected speeds for the respective connection, and functioned without fault. Making the RVS02 nicer than some other 2.5-inch disk enclosures on the market is that it is a tool-less enclosure, which makes for a quick and easy installation and removal of the drive.
The only complaint that I have about the RVS02 is that it is made all of plastic. It feels somewhat of lower quality than what I expect from SilverStone's otherwise fabulous products. The RVS01 feels more durable than the RVS02. The plastic casing also will not be of much help if you plan to run a warm HDD in the enclosure either instead of an SSD. At the end of the day, it is a relatively nice product that costs only about $25 USD.
