System76 Serval Professional Notebook

At the back of the System76 Serval Professional are a DVI port, HDMI output, one eSATA port, one USB 2.0 port, and the power connection. Both the DVI and HDMI are compatible with Ubuntu Linux using the proprietary NVIDIA display driver. It is also very nice seeing an eSATA port on this notebook considering this high-speed port is not yet found on most notebooks. There is also a large exhaust area on the back of the notebook.

On the left hand side of the Serval Professional is the DVD-RW drive, but nothing else. At the front of the notebook are the S/PDIF, headphone, and microphone ports. Additionally there is also an IEEE-1394a Firewire port and a set of status indicator LEDs.

Lastly, on the right hand side is the Express Card slot, an integrated card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit LAN port, and a telephone modem port.
