Total War: WARHAMMER Linux NVIDIA vs. Radeon Benchmarks

I started the 1600 x 900 tests with the lower-end NVIDIA cards while for the RadeonSI testing did carry it out through all of the cards with not knowing exactly how well the open-source AMD stack would handle this game... To some surprise, it ran the game well on most of the graphics cards tested. A Radeon HD 7950 / R9 285 and higher could run the game at 1600 x 900 with low image quality settings at 60+ FPS.

Though at 1600 x 900 with medium image quality settings, only the RX 480 and R9 Fury were above the 60 FPS threshold.

At 1920 x 1080 with low image quality settings, the Radeon RX 480 was coming up just shy of the GTX 970 and the R9 Fury was coming in just short of the GTX 1060.

But when moving to high image quality settings, the RX 480 and R9 Fury were running about the same and that was coming up shy of the GTX 970 on the NVIDIA side.
