Across the wide range of workloads and both light and heavy tasks, the performance profile yielded around a 6% improvement overall.
When running in the performance profile, the Ryzen 7 7840HS power consumption went up from a 26 to 34 Watt average and was now frequently hitting the 54 Watt rated maximum compared to typically staying at 35 Watts or less out-of-the-box on Ubuntu 23.10.
