Xsbench using OpenMP for parallelism yields a 5x increase in performance, roughly in line with the Tyan server having 80 threads versus the 16 threads of the older Sun box, and the performance-per-Watt was trending similarly.

The DDR4-2666 RDIMMs yields much better performance than the DDR3-1066 back in the Nehalem days.
