We ran VDrift to provide an OpenGL test on these motherboards with the ATI FirePro V8750 graphics card while powering a 2560 x 1600 display. The performance between all three motherboards was close with no real performance differences, though this is to no surprise considering the close similarities between the three Tyan motherboards.

With the PostgreSQL benchmark there was more fluctuation between the three motherboards with the older Tyan Thunder n3600M performing the best followed by the Thunder n6650W. The Tyan Thunder n3600B rather strangely was a fair amount behind the other motherboards with its PostgreSQL performance, but this was confirmed by the Phoronix Test Suite with its testing that is carried out multiple times and does ensure statistical significance between test runs.

The Tyan n3600B lost in the PostgreSQL test, but with the PostMark synthetic test it offered the best performance followed closely by the two other AMD Opteron 2000 series motherboards.

With the industry standard POV-Ray ray-tracing benchmark the results were very close between the three motherboards with dual AMD Opteron quad-core processors.
