Ubuntu 19.04 vs. 19.10 Radeon Linux Gaming Comparison

DiRT Rally 2.0 on Steam Play under Linux is a bit of an odd one with the RX 580 Polaris coming out ahead of the RX Vega 56 still. But at least for the Vega graphics cards there an improvement to find in both the RX Vega 56 and Radeon VII when moving from Ubuntu 19.10 stable to the Git components of Linux 5.4 and Mesa 19.3.

Dota 2 with OpenGL saw the performance drop on Ubuntu 19.10 but did largely recover with the Git driver components.

Dota 2 on Vulkan also saw a drop moving from Ubuntu 19.04 to 19.10 but an improvement in going to Linux 5.4 + Mesa 19.3, although not quite closing the regression for the RX 580 and RX Vega 56.

The ET: Legacy game did also see a drop in performance for the RX 580 and RX Vega 56 on Ubuntu 19.10 followed by some uplift when using the bleeding edge driver bits.
