Up next are the results from an HP EliteBook that was used as Intel's Software Development Platform for Sandy Bridge. The notebook has the Intel Core i5 2520M with Intel HD 3000 graphics. Fedora 17, Fedora 18, Fedora 18 + Updates, and Ubuntu 13.04 20130121 were benchmarked from this system. The "Fedora 18 + Updates" configuration was also tested since shortly after the Fedora 18 release, the Linux 3.7 kernel was pushed in as a stable update to F18's stock Linux 3.6 kernel. The selection of graphics benchmarks are also slightly different from the OpenGL tests carried out in the open-source Radeon environment.

For the Cairo-Perf-Trace benchmarks, Ubuntu 13.04 was the fastest Linux distribution between the Fedora/ubuntu releases tested for these 2D benchmarks on the open-source Intel Linux graphics driver.
