Ubuntu 12.04 LTS vs. 14.04 LTS Cloud Benchmarks
PolyBench-C wins on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS since the GCC 4.8 compiler is better optimized for this test than it was during development of GCC 4.6.
More mixed results between Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04...
GraphicsMagick was generally running faster with Ubuntu 12.04 rather than the brand new release of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
