Moving onto the OpenGL tests, OpenArena was running close to the same speed across all six desktops on Ubuntu 14.10. The only outlier was KDE 4.14.1 with its stock settings coming in slightly lower than the rest, but the result was almost indifferent.

With Tesseract the KDE and Xfce results were the only ones coming in slightly below the rest when using Intel Haswell HD Graphics.

With ultimate settings for Xonotic, the six desktops found out-of-the-box on Ubuntu 14.10 were running close to each other for this final Linux game test with KDE 4.14.1 being just a bit slower with its stock settings.
