With the Blowfish testing in John The Ripper the Hardy VM performance trailed behind slightly while the matching VM performance was in-step with the host.

The performance with FFmpeg was very close between the host and the virtualized guests.

There was not much of a timing difference between the Hardy VM and Matching VM testing with the LZMA compression, but both were noticeably slower than running on the host.

Virtualizing an Ubuntu release newer than Ubuntu 8.04 was of benefit with the Bullet Physics Engine and the 3000 Fall test.
