Initial Benchmarks Of Schedutil Performance On Linux 5.7 Show Room Still For Improvement
In some I/O tests using P-State performance is still the fastest choice.
For some CPU workloads, the governor choice doesn't make much of a difference...
But for many of the workloads, Schedutil could keep pace with P-State performance, but there were cases of the P-State powersave configuration degrading the performance -- even more so with Linux 5.7 compared to the 5.6 reference point.
