X.Org vs. XMir On KDE, Xfce, Unity Desktops

For the Intel 2D graphics performance with and without XMir, the Iris Pro performance from this Haswell Ultrabook was close for the three tested desktops. While the focus of this article is looking at XMir's performance impact, worth noting in that some benchmarks is that the Xfce and Unity desktop 2D performance was much better than in KDE 4.11.
